Maker= FO Friedrich Orth of Vienna.
"Zerstörerkriegsabzeichen" as a World War II German military decoration it was awarded to officers and crew for service on Kriegsmarine destroyers. It was instituted on 4 June 1940
with at least 80% of original gilt remaining to the wreath with rubbing to the high spots. Complete with its horizontal wide tapering pin, hook and hinge with its uniform retaining hook in place behind the head of the eagle.
Marked ‘FO’ in raised relief on the reverse side.
