SABRETACHE (WORKING TYPE) 1843 - 1871

Fine example of a large patent leather undress sabretache with gilt metal crowned thistle wreath and 'RMLYC' badge to the front. Complete with the rear pouch and two brass hanging rings to the top. Some wear.
The unit was raised again in 1843 as “The Royal Midlothian Yeomanry Cavalry” and was finally disbanded in 1871.
