The Far East Air Force (FEAF) was a United States Army Air Forces command established in the Philippines on November 16, 1941, to defend against Japanese expansion, largely destroyed early in WWII before being reconstituted in 1944. It served as the air component of U.S. Army Forces in the Far East (USAFFE).
