A scarce dress pouch of the 4th Royal Irish Dragoon Guards, circa 1830-52,
Pre-CRIMEA PERIOD. (WM IV)

The pouch embroidered in bullion wire with a starburst badge within a shamrock wreath, a crown with a part scroll inscribed 'Royal Irish Dragoon Guards' and another with battle honour 'Peninsula', a thick brocade on blue velvet, two brass loops and leather interior.
